I'm not sure which is worse: the effect that high encounter rates have on a game's difficulty or the effect they have on trying your patience. But both effects are blatantly obvious in this episode, as we rescue a man who got crushed by a boulder but's somehow still alive and uninjured...your guess is as good as mine as to why.
