In this Let's Play video, you will see me play Final Outpost: Definitive Edition (Full Release). Final Outpost is a Strategy Survival Town Defense Base Builder Colony Sim with some Tower Defense and Real Time Auto Battle mechanics. This game has a lot of similar mechanics seen in "Night Is Coming", "Darfall", "Gord", "They Are Billions", "Diplomacy Is Not an Option", "Cataclismo", "Wool at the Gates", "Super Fantasy Kingdom", "DotAge", and "The King Is Watching". Resource Management is the key to this game. Gather Resources and Build during the Day and Defend the Town at Night. There are Seasons in this game as well where Winter becomes a real challenge. Final Outpost has that "The Walking Dead" theme, where you must build a little colony to defend against Zombie attacks. Gather Resources during the day to build up your Settlement, Craft Tools, and Upgrade your Defenses. You'll also need food to prevent starvation. Villagers sleeping will contribute towards Birth Rate (only if they're not hungry or starving). Defend your Town at night when the Zombies come out to attack your Walls. If your walls go down, you will lose the game. How long can you survive? I absolutely dig this game. It's great guys! The survival and game mechanics are very easy to understand. I highly recommend adding this game to your Wishlist.
