Let's Play Independence War - Entry 1 - Intro and Training (1/5)
157Welcome to Independence War, my friends! This amazing game came out in 1998, at the height of the original golden age of space PC gaming, and it left a mark on the genre that hasn't really been matched except, maybe, by its own sequel. The two games in the series are different enough that I kind of see them as separate entities (this a linear, militaristic sim, its sequel an open piracy sim). In this first entry, we watch the amazing fifteen minute intro movie together, and then do some training missions. The game crashes a bit, so rather than making you go through the missions again, we're gonna jump right into the story with the next entry. Thanks for watching!
