Region 9 - Japan
Story: The fabled Golden Jewel Board Raiden searched for throughtout his career is located on the planet Nova, in the Arktur system, of Inner Defense Races Forces of United Planets Federation. But unfortunately, Mr.G snatches it from our heroes's hands. With Golden Jewel Board in Mr.G's hands, a dark dragon-like figure shows up, and introduces himself as Ke-Pa - the Emperor of the Revenge, one of the Emperors of the Universe. Mr.G reveals his full name: Gozaburo Kaiba, who is now a resurrected minion of Ke-Pa. All this time, he and Ke-Pa weres the ones who planted spores in the Jewel Board, which infected Marina and other victims, in hopes to lure his son, Seto Kaiba, out from hiding, and in hopes of weakening Raiden and Renee, who are God Aspects of the Universe. This whole time, Gozaburo was seeking revenge on Seto Kaiba for usurping his power and Kaiba Corp. from him. And now that he and Ke-Pa finally have Golden Jewel Board, they intend to bring it to their master, Darchon - the Emperor of the Night, to abuse their power to blind and weaken Gods of the Universe, so that the Empire of the Night could take over their place as "Eternal Rulers of the Universe". Now, Raiden, Renee, Master Chin and Seto Kaiba don't have much time to stop them. They must take away the Golden Jewel Board from them, or else, everything will be lost.
Gameplay: Ninth area changes everything. It has sixteen levels! And they are all extremely difficult with versatile objectives. In first two levels, time will run quicker, match Quartz Timepieces to gain extra time. Second two levels have delicate jewels that must be put in their chests individualy. Be careful, those jewels will break when close to each other. Third two levels have Unswapable Fluorites that can be rid of only when they reach bottom and when matched in cascades. Fourth two levels have buried relics back. Fifth levels have Iolite jewels, which are only jewels that can turn squares into gold when matched, while other will not be able to turn squares into gold. Sixth two levels have Scarabs that can be matched only in a row or column of six. Seventh two levels have seven types of jewels, making matches difficult, just like in Surveyor Class from the very first game. And finally, eight and final two levels have White Pearls back and Black Pearls, which will remove a space when they reach the bottom of the board. If not all squares on original board are turned into gold (you will see that by the lack of square), level will not be complete! Godspeed, good luck and may the fate be with you.
