Story: Aang has defeated General Grievous after an intense fight against Grievous's Rodix Titan form, and General Grievous's defeat caused him to retreat back to Outworld realm ruled by Shao Kahn. With Grievous out of the way, Cathie assembled map towards Tree of Life. Cathie Jones, Nymphadora, Flannery, Renee, Raiden, Megan, Daimyo, and Aang come across village where they find it's chieftain who learned to speak English after studying in university at Mexico with Cathie's grandmother Emily Jones, and who returned to his tribe after graduation. Chieftain is willing to help our heroes find sacred Tree of Life which can't be shown to strangers, under condition if they become members of chieftain's tribe by repairing dam that bursted and whose destruction caused flooding village's crops. Dam was ancient structure built in name of love where long time ago lived warrior named Mictlan who fell in beautiful girl Adel who was daughter of mighty ruler. Mictlan launched war against ruler to kill him and take throne and Adel as his wife, but fate was agaisnt Mictlan and his army. Despite this, ruler inveted trial for Mictlan for showing courage against him where Mictlan would have to prove his love for Adel was strong enough to stop water flowing down the river. Mictlan passed trial and married Adel with whom he lived for 150 years and started new dynasty. Since then, people of India lived happily and prospered thanks to power of love. Our heroes arrive towards dam where they meet second of Rodix Outworlders which is impulsive, aggresive and narcissistic Odile Kurosuki who is daughter of evil sorcerer Rothbart who joined Shadow Realm Cultists led by Marik Isthar. Raiden with his lightningbending and martial arts must face against Odile who is violent sorceress with dangerous temper who learned new black magic arts and martial arts under hellish tutorship of Shang Tsung and Shao Kahn. Odile has summoned her owl-shaped barrier made of dark energy to prevent anyone from interfering and which will provide Odile with souls of common mortals who touch the barrier in which Odile will gradually transform in her fiendish Rodix Titan form resembling her original form mixed with owl to overpower Raiden. And once Raiden prevails against Odile, Cathie must open chest containing ancient treasure that whose lock can be opened by finding a way to pull gold component out of mechanism which will repair the dam.
Gameplay: Like in prequel, Power-Ups must be bought in the shops before starting each level. First Power-Up I will explain is Blast. Blast Power-Up is created when you match four tokens, Blast Power-Up will cause nearby tokens to explode upon matching. First level for Blast Power-Up has small radius. Second level for Blast Power-Up has medium radius. Third level for Blast Power-Up has big radius. Mana Bonus will speed up collection of mana whenever you make matches. First level for Mana Bonus will increase collection speed of mana for one quarter. Second level for Mana Bonus will increase collection speed of mana for one third. Third level for Mana Bonus will increase collection speed of mana for one half. Second totem I will explain is Swap Totem. Swap Totem colored in grey allows you to swap two tokens of your choice on board, similarly to Teleport tool from Paradoxion by VSB Games. First level for Swap Totem allows you to swap only simple tokens with each other or tokens with crystals with each other. Second level for Swap Totem allows you to swap simple tokens and tokens with crystals together with each other instead of separatedly. Third level for Swap Totem allows you to swap any token on board. Second levels are fairly easy. Second bonus level will require of you to open ancient castle by pulling gold component out of mechanism. To do this, you must pull vertically-placed mechanisms only up or down, and you must pull horizontally-placed mechanisms only left or right. This bonus level can be pretty confusing if you play the game for the first time.
