In this Let's Play video, I will be playing LONESTAR (Version 1.0 Full Release) with the Into the Breach Crossover Update. This game is a space adventure, turn based strategy space ship combat game with some deck building and tactics elements. You are a Space Bounty Hunter. Customize your ship weapons and equipment loadout and hunt down space criminals. LONESTAR shares some similarities to games like StarVaders, Breachway, Void War, FTL, Shortest Trip to Earth, and Takara Cards. It has an FTL (Faster Than Light) like vibe to it where it shares the galaxy exploration mechanic that constantly moves your ship forward from node to node with ship to ship combat splitting your screen. As a Bounty Hunter, you go on missions to take out the most wanted criminals in the galaxy! You can customize your ship with the various equipment you acquire with a weight limit. You'll also need to strategize where you want to place them on your ship. The game has 2 phases, the Combat phase, and the Vacation phase. During the vacation phase you will have a limited number of days and decide where you want to spend your days. For example, do you want to Repair your ship, earn some extra Star Coins, chase random event for new items, or go to the shop to get new equipment. The fun part of the game is figuring out a good strategy with the equipment you have and customizing your ship configuration while exploring the galaxy and surviving the battles. This give you that Star Wars Mandalorian Space Bounty Hunter vibes chasing wanted criminals in the galaxy. I highly recommend this game.
