So when editing this video, I did see the switch for the very briefest of moments, half hidden by the life bar, after the peak of the jump you can make from the highest point. No wonder why I missed it. Bad design. If you need to hit a switch to progress, I think that switch needs to be completely visible from when you're standing on ground.
