This whole thing made sense back when it was just RBY and GSC, but now it's more than implausible, it's just BS. Imagine the awkwardness if those lines came back in HGSS.

And while giving advice on a 15-year old game that's considered to be one of the greatest ever made may be a futile effort, I wouldn't be surprised if there were some of my viewers who didn't know you could get a Genji Glove by turning down Banon three times. Doing so wouldn't even be out of character for Terra, who's dumb as a brick anyway.
