This is my favorite boss in the game, and maybe the Duology in general.

Seth is weak to Bullets. Thus, let Seraph equip the Pandemonium bullets and go hogwild. Equip skills that boost your critical rate, and make sure you're on the proper Solar Noise for Min/Max Critical. Give Seraph the Dual Ring so you can shoot twice in a row. Let someone else have the Turn Ring so you can have another turn icon.

Seth is much simpler to battle than Shiva or Vishnu. He has instant death spells of course. His big attacks are Pain, Desert Wind and Spiteful Force.

Pain deals a very high amount of physical damage with a good chance to critical. Desert Wind blows a character out of battle and drops them to 150 HP. Spiteful Force starts out weak, but gets stronger as Seth's HP falls. It's a wicked cool attack and concept that more bosses should use.

Defeating Seth grants you the Root of Evil mantra, which grants you the skills Spiteful Force and Death Flies. Death Flies does a high amount of Almighty damage and 100% kills anything that isn't immune to Death. Again, you get it too late for it to be useful, but it might be fun for New Game + in conjunction with Auto Soma.

You also get the Avoid Ring, which makes it so dodging or nulling an enemy attack ends their turn immediately instead of just taking two icons away. It's ALMOST necessary to beat the final superboss with. It's useful no matter what though.
