It's time to take on Gulp!
Much bigger and more dangerous than Crush, Gulp pretty much kicks my ass for a bit! (I even lose a life!)
But in the end, I manage to defeat him!
This also leads to Ripto falling out of a window with his chair, seemingly to his death. (Ha! Unlikely!)
Elora then shows up to thank Spyro for getting rid of Ripto and saving Avalar.
Elora, along with Zoe and some of the other fairies, then get Spyro a chair, umbrella and a drink to help him relax after doing all that work.
With the professor still working on the portal to send Spyro back home, Elora leaves.
And then in what looked like the shortest nap ever, Spyro wakes up and wonders where Elora went.
We then switch to Elora, Hunter and the professor, who are all in winter tundra setting up the portal to take Spyro back home.
To the surprise of probably nobody other than the main characters, Ripto shows up, steals the power crystal needed for the portal by using some bombs he bought from moneybags, and then once again takes over another castle! (He even kicks Moneybags out of the castle!)
So with us arriving in the now overtaken winter tundra (If you can even call locking himself in the castle as overtaking it, anyway!), Elora fills us in on what's going on, and we set on out to kick his ass out of the castle once and for all!
Well, with all the orbs I've collected, I could pretty much fight the final boss right now! (You need to have enough orbs to unlock the door to the castle, for some reason!)
But this final hub world has a couple of levels to play through, so that won't be happening any time soon!
Anyway, with me 100% collecting all the gems and orbs of winter tundra in this part, along with learning Spyro's final special move, the headbash, the next part will focus on the first of the few worlds/levels in this last hub world! It shall be the confusing looking mystic marsh! (Maybe it's just me, but the layout in that one always throws me off!)
I also switch to using the better capture card for recording this lp in the next part! (That being said, the first recording with it had a few hiccups with the quality!) So look forward to that!
