Episode 1: A Slower Approach

Tails gets more Genres than Sonic did prior to the Adventure games, and this one is definitely a shift for the better. The exploration/Metroid-type gameplay works pretty well here, even though we can't do much to start. Poloy Forest is your standard intro level, where you have to get used to how everything works. Volcanic Tunnel, at least what we can currently access, is there just to grab items that will allow us to progress in other areas. While some items are mandatory, in terms of combat, play to your comfort. Our first batle against Speedy is not a very annoying fight, as it's basically just "Fly as best you can."
