Fedar heads down to the Canalworks of the Foreign Quarter and pokes around. In Simine Fralinie's bookshop, he discovers some fellow members of the Thieves Guild behind a locked door - how about that! Who's this Gentleman Jim Stacey guy, anyway? Maybe we'll find out more later. The Canalworks appears to be split in two, separated by a tomb filled with active undead... so Fedar's got to clear his way through that in order to keep looking around.
Starting with this video, I'm trying some new things with my audio post-production technique that should streamline one of the most tedious and soul-sucking parts of the editing process for me. For the past 3 years, I've been painstakingly removing "mouth clicks" from my audio tracks by hand, a miserable task that turns each 30-minute video into a 3+ hour slog. It's taken most of the joy out of this Let's Play for me, to be honest. But now, I click a few things and my new processing modules do all that work in a matter of seconds! While not perfect, the results are fantastic and I'm hoping I'll be able to make the switch going forward. I've scrutinized the output quite a bit, and I don't believe my vocal track is getting garbled by these algorithms... but it can be hard to tell after listening for so long. So please let me know if you notice anything, good or bad!
