Lets Play the Children of Silentown Prologue: Who roars in the woods?
I’ve come to appreciate darker adventure games that also aim at kids or young adults and looking at the prologue, “Children of Silentown” might be just that - a spoopy and charming adventure game with a darker side but without the gore and terror, so it is probably suitable for kids and adults alike. In the prologue, we get to know our main protagonist and her lovely cat and family (including a douche dad) and we already find out that something is amiss in the little village. But what?
The Gameplay is very easy, the puzzles are - so far - easy as well. Accomplished puzzle fiends might not find their biggest challenges in this game but everyone who loves enchanting stories, charming characters and a little mystery without too much horror will probably really enjoy this game and can even play it together with their kids.

Elf Games is an Italian video game dev team. They developed their first proper game in 2014 for the Game Maker Contest with “Little Briar Rose”. The main team consists of Fabiola Allegrone who is the creative mind behind the games and Piero Dotti who does the programming. They also work with Marco Buzzi (Game Design), Andrea Fumagalli (programming, design, testing, etc.) and Stefano Zambrano (translator).

Additionally, Luna2Studio is listed as co-developer. According to their Patreon, the team consists of Richard and Fraffrog (aka Francesca), I guess, they are also from Italy and do illustrations, animations and video design. https://www.patreon.com/Luna2/creators?fbclid=IwAR2J1NjRj9b87z_U4qE4GYqFzqFrds4MZ11D3rLNfYQNs1E3IU1xMYVr7v8
I found the Salami meme and it has something to do with cats: https://mashable.com/article/cats-salami-meme/?europe=true
The video game and movie I am talking about at the end of the game is called “City of the Lost Children”. The movie was directed by Marc Caro and Jean-Pierre Jeunet and if you like darker fairty-tale stories, I heavily recommend it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0HWDOzi2h0
