The beginning to our Let’s Play of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX for the Nintendo Game Boy Color. An action/adventure game developed by Nintendo, originally released in 1993 for the Game Boy and re-released in 1998 for the Game Boy Color.

Our hero Link, in training to prepare himself for future threats, has gone out to travel the world. But while sailing one night, Link’s boat is destroyed during a storm and the awakens on the island of Koholint. Here he meets Marin, the girl who rescued him from the beach, and her Father Tarin. They explain to him what has happened and return his shield to him. They also mention to Link that more of his equipment may be found on the beach as well. But he should be careful as monsters are appearing and becoming more aggressive.
