Ocarina of Time was originally released for the Nintendo 64 in 1998 during a time when many franchises were moving from the second to the third dimension, and breaking through, or simply ramming into, the polygon ceiling. Ocarina of Time changed much of how Zelda games had played before them, but in doing so tore through that ceiling and opened a new world of Zelda games to us. In 2011 the game was remade for the 3DS with enhanced models and textures but for the most part stayed as loyal to the original as possible.
