Let's Play Zone of the Enders (Blind) Ep. 1: Get in Jehuty, Leo!
4The year is 2172. Mankind has expanded their reach beyond Earth into the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. All appears peaceful on the Jupiter colony of Antilia, until BAHRAM, a military unit, attacks the colony in search of the giant mech, the Orbital-Frame.
During their assault, a young boy named Leo attempts to flee with his life, after seeing the death of this friends. While escaping, he stumbles into a hidden hangar housing the Orbital-Frame, Jehuty. Assisted by the artificial intelligence, ADA, he sets out to survive the attacks by BAHRAM and deliver Jehuty to the civilian transport vessel Atlantis, all while trying his best to maintain his moral code.
This game was produced by Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima, and was originally released for PS2 in 2001. While this series never gained anywhere near the reputation of Metal Gear, or many other Konami titles for that matter, it still maintains a cult following, and did get enough support for an HD remake. So while this is a bit different from my usual repertoire, I think we all can enjoy some giant robot action, right?
