4Twenty two years ago to this day, one of the greatest animated films of all time was released to theaters. Combining all of the lessons learned in their previous works such as The Little Mermaid and Aladdin, The Lion King was an epic story about finding your place in the world and overcoming the burdens of leadership and succession. Grossing nearly a billion dollars over three releases, the film has garnered widespread acclaim and great success as a stage show, a video game, and many other platforms. This is why, with great respect to the film, I will be uploading my entire playthrough of The Lion King on the Sega Genesis.
