Level Up 27 - Street Fighter 2 & Mortal Kombat 2
1Listening back at this one, I was way too hard on Street fighter 2. I was obviously projecting my own distaste for the fighting game genre (and maybe how bad I am at it) onto one of the most popular series. However, this version (both the rerelease and the system it's on) are not great, even for Street Fighter. But with what Capcom did in the coming years after this review, I feel a little validated in my opinion. I still think Mortal Kombat is better, but I think if I obviously wasn't rushing, maybe I could have been a little bit more fair with Street Fighter (maybe I'll fix my mistake with another entry in the series).
