Linux systems Administrators Can't Avoid systemd!
In my "Why systemd?" video, I introduced the basic philosophy behind the systemd init system. I did state that systemd is controversial, but that if you're a desktop Linux user, you do have the option of using a Linux distro that doesn't use systemd. I also pointed out that if you're a Linux systems administrator, or aspire to be a Linux systems administrator, you have no choice, because the big players in the Linux server market have all switched to systemd. So Red Hat, SUSE, and Ubuntu, the big three players, are all systemd Linux distros.
Although there is systemd controversy, we do need to live with it.
