93There's no way to automatically simulate your DPS in Lost Ark. So instead, I manually tested 6 different builds to get an idea of which build performs the best in the current point of Tier 3.
The purpose of these simulations was to help understand what the optimal third engraving we should go for if you intend to use a 3/3/3 engraving build in PvE. The 3/3/3 engraving setup is attainable in the current point in the game so let's find out what the best engravings are.
How the simulation was set up:
1. In Trixion, use the Training Grounds
2. Using the Stat Services and Engraving services, enter the stat allocation and engraving setup you desire to test. In this case, a crit and swiftness build were utilized.
3. Allocate a maximum of 1200 in one stat and 450 in another. The reason for this split is it's easily attainable in the current point in the game. Anything more will start to creep into the Relic Accessories which we don't have access to yet.
4. Summon boss scarecrow to attack
5. Run 10 2-minute simulations for each build using an Ideal Scenario (where only hitting head of the boss). This results in 60 test samples (10 tests per 6 builds)
6. Run 10 2-minute simulations for each build using a realistic scenario (hitting both head and body of a boss). This results in 60 more test samples.
7. Track DPS results and acquire averages
This is by no means a perfect result since the sample size is so low. But it should show a trend as to what performs the best UNDER A PURE TRAINING SCENARIO. This doesn't always mean X build is always preferred over Y build. Some builds might be more practical when used in actual encounters.
