This is the longplay of the game Double Dragon II: The Revenge, beat n 'up game produced by Technōs Japan, originally released for arcades in 1988 and then for NES and other consoles. This video is from the NES version.

Double Dragon II is the sequel to Double Dragon, which had been released during the previous year. The sequel involves Billy and Jimmy Lee in a mission to avenge Billy's girlfriend Marian after she is shot to death by the Black Warriors leader Willy, who is retaliating against the Lee brothers after his defeat at the end of the previous game.

One of the most anticipated things in this version was the 2 player mode. The graphics are much better, the movements are more dynamic, the levels are much darker and relatively futuristic and the suggestion that Marion would have been killed further increases the players' expectations of the end. The game is very different from the Arcade version, but none of that prevented it from being considered the best Double Dragon for the NES.
It is a game that marked the Beat 'N Up genre too much. The video was made with 2 players.
