This is the longplay of the game Vice: Project Doom, an action, platform and racing game released by Sammy Corporation in 1991, exclusively for the NES, with a gameplay very similar to Ninja Gaiden and Spy Hunter. In Japan this game is called Gun-Dec.

The story of the game is as follows: a bunch of aliens landed on Earth a few centuries ago. The earth's environment was hostile to them, even with all the superhuman properties they owned. For this reason, they produced a neon green Gel (called "Gel") that supplied them. In an effort to blend in with the human race, they started producing clones. After centuries passed, Beda Corporation appears. This company produces and distributes technological products, but behind it is also responsible for maintaining the life of the alien race on earth. The "Gel" has different effects on humans. When used, it can make a human stronger, and also cause some mutations. Thus, the gel is sought after by the richest people in the world. Beda Corporation then starts producing the gel for profit, but even with all the effects, it is proven to be lethal to human users. Officials in the "Vice" city then send officer Quinn Hart and his partner-detective Reese to look for suppliers and producers of the mysterious gel. During the investigations, Reese disappears. His body has not been found and is then presumed dead. Now, Quinn Hart, with his team, needs to unravel the mysteries of the gel and continue his investigation.

The game has several gameplay styles, with platform stages, racing and even arcade-style shooting. During the stages, our hero can use his sword (which is very agile and well within reach), a pistol and grenades, as well as being able to run low to dodge shots while moving. It's a great NES game.
Hope you like it.
