You will notice the quality here is so much better than it was before. My new render settings for anyone who's interested:
My raw HD-PVR recording is in .m2ts format, at a bitrate of 14 Mbps. I compress it down in Sony Vegas Pro 12, and I have the HD PVR 2. If you're wondering how I do that, I extract the audio from it and add it in separately. That may seem like a hassle, but it only took about 50 seconds to extract the audio from this. Then when I compress it, I render in .wmv format (the problem with the not removing interlace lines with a .wmv only applies if your raw format was .mp4) at a bitrate of 7 Mbps. The quality here might look slightly compromised, even a small .wmv file takes ages to upload at 14 Mbps. At 7 Mbps, this video would have looked terrible and would have been over 1.5 GB in size if I had rendered to a .mp4 format. That just shows how bad mp4 files are...
Oh, and by the way, my FoE videos are always rendered into .wmv files at a bitrate of 6 Mbps.

It's funny how when people make a Let's Play of this game their main concern is can they defend Nordinbad against seven waves of Orcs and Urukhai, particularly the Sappers and Armored Trolls, but for me the concern is can I upload videos fast enough without over-compromising the quality so that it looks awful :(
