The Maxim hover transport has been a stalwart of mechanised infantry forces across the Inner Sphere for centuries and by the late 3050's it had been given a facelift with some new tech and better weapons. The modern Maxim is a capable APC, able to absorb damage, deploy or pick up troops and protect them as they move.
