Lost Ark is overrated, just because it's new doesn't mean it's good
0I spent an hour playing Lost Ark, and not enjoying it at all. If it's your type of game, then by all means go play it and enjoy. This is my unedited live play so you can see in real time what I didn't like about it.
If your going to make an MMORPG I like to feel that I am the character, and not just a mouse in space clicking on where to send the character. It reminds me more of Runescape and less of Diablo. At least Diablo we could move around without clicking.
Although they have some character selection it's very limited. Specifically if you want to be a Male Mage, or a Female fighter. That's not going to happen. The 2 classes you do get to choose gender for are split as though they are separate classes themselves. We should have the freedom to choose a gender and class independently.
Just so many things I didn't care for. I'm sure it's an unpopular opinion, but I just couldn't have fun with this game. If you like grind just for the sake of grind then hey, give this game a shot. To me it plays out like a really bad Diablo clone, on mobile.
