No random encounters here. Rather, each of the three floors has a series of rooms with mandatory fights, and there is a certain thing you must do in order to defeat the enemies.
On the first floor, use Hiro's wind magic. On the second floor, use Ronfar to put the dolls to sleep before attacking them. On the third floor, use Jean's butterfly dance to "activate" the rock monsters.
