Mad World - Age of Darkness - MMORPG Source Memories, Source Stone, Meld, Memory Scar Guide
I've been playing the MMORPG Mad World for a few days now, and I now have enough information to start recording video guides for my favourite viewers. Today I'm going to talk about how you can improve your skills. I'll tell you how to use these items and abilities and how to use them much more successfully than you might think.
Well, let's get started.
First you need to understand what Source-Stone (your skill) is. It is a stone that contains memories of battles. Source Memories (an item used to improve a skill) are the memories of battles. In order to upgrade Source-Stone you need to add Source Memories to it. This is not a complicated process, but it is very expensive if you want to reach a top skill level. The reason it is expensive is because each Source-Stone has its own scars (number of failed attempts to add memories). I'll tell you more about that next.
Where can I get Source-Stone and Source Memories?
Source-Stone can be obtained by completing quests, you can buy them from a common merchant. Source-Stone from this vendor will come with +3 level, but have a maximum of 4 scars.
There is also Hook Store, which sells much better quality Source-Stones with a maximum of 7 scars, but to buy them you need special currency, the so-called hooks, which can be obtained by researching the game and completing daily tasks. There will be another video about this.
Source Memories can be obtained by completing quests and hunting monsters. Chance of falling out is not high, but as in any MMORPG if you want to get something have grind or just pay money to buy it from another player on the intra-game black market.
You already know where to get Source-Stone and Source Memories, now it's time to figure out how it all works.
As I said earlier, each Source-Stone has a maximum number of failed attempts to add memories. Each time you fail to add Source Memories to a Source-Stone, the stone takes 1 scar. Adding memories to Source Stone is only a matter of luck, so use those that have more scars available. If the stone is good, it gains a level, if it fails the stone does not gain a level but is +1 scar. Is that clear? If you don't get it, re-check it. Source Memories are different in quality and have coordinate differences from each other.
Common - if successful, they add +1 level, chance of success 30%.
Uncommon - if successful, they add +2 level, 15% chance of success.
Rare - when successful, they add +2 level, chance of success 30%.
Unique - if successful, add +3 levels, 20% chance of success.
