Building GZdoom with Brutal mod on Debian Jessie x86_64
What did i do:
Buy doom or doom2 (for example on steam)
Download:
fmod ex: http://www.fmod.org/download/
brutal mod: http://www.moddb.com/mods/brutal-doom
gzdoom: https://github.com/coelckers/gzdoom
make a build directory, compile gzdoom with fmodex
extract brutal doom to compiled directory, extract DOOM.WAD or DOOM2.WAD to compiled directory.
Run gzdoom by command:
./gzdoom -file DoomMetalVol4.wad brutal19.pk3
Configure controls and play!
