Hello there fellow Dazzlers and New Players alike! Today we've got a tutorial for setting up the mouse as a lightgun controller in MAME.
I've done something like this before, but that was for a different build of MAME; this one is for the newer/recent builds. Plus, I go over other aspects such as multi-mouse and games that are "lightguns" but use the "AD Stick" device type.
Note: This is for using a mouse as a lightgun ONLY. This is NOT for using PC-compatible lightgun controllers!
