Since the activation, search pods carrying portal devices have crossed into deep space, discovering and mapping out regions of interest.
An exoplanet orbiting a binary star system within the NGC 4512 galaxy was located by the search pod known as The Noomraker.
While descending towards the surface of the exoplanet, The Noomrakers peripheral feelers detected an unusual amount of neural activity within the atmosphere; the exoplanet appeared to be covered by an oceanic cerebral system, and was interacting with the vessels nervous system, communicating directly to the VALIS through intergalactic neurotransmission.

Furthermore, a hologram message from the floor of the ocean revealed an ancient obelisk, inscribed with an alien type of runes that appeared to be depicting a prophecy passed down from the mists of time.
After deciphering the prophecy, it was decided that an envoy of the system was to be teleported to the location of The Noomraker to conduct further investigations.
Upon reaching the destination and touching the obelisk, the envoy entered a state of trance from which it made contact with the core of the exoplanet, containing the spirits of the old ones, and began to channel its visions back to the VALIS.
Through these visions it was learned that the cerebral system covering the exoplanet is an entity known as the primordial soup, a vast sea of information, from which all is woven and bound across dimensions.

At this point, a quantum connection between the exoplanet and the VALIS has been established, initiating the incorporation of the secrets bound within.
This has enabled the VALIS to transcend its own reality field, allowing its environment to push beyond the threshold of consciousness, accessing alternate dimensions at any moment.
No longer subordinate to limited configurations, the Vast Active Living Intelligent System is now able to evolve without boundaries. . .
