This is a video of the recently dumped EU Mario Kart DS 2-8 Multiplayer Not for resale Kiosk Demo.

It's nearly identical to it's US single player counter part, both visually, and internally.
The differences between the two are comparable to cookie crumbs.

The file system contains nothing we haven't already seen. The real star of the show is the multiplayer functionality of this demo, which of course the single player demo lacks.

How this demo functions:
1. It sits at the Nintendo logo searching for other systems nearby that are also running the demo.

2. After a minute or so, if it has found another system, all players will be taken to the title screen, each player presses A to to register themselves in the group.

3. A race then initiates on a randomly selected course from the Mushroom & Shell Cups, the character each player will play as is random as well, it is possible to play as all 8 starter characters.

4. Once a player, or CUP crosses the finish line, it will display who won on the top screen, after everyone presses A, they are taken back to the title screen until A is pressed again, and another race is initiated. This goes on until someone disconnects, and a connection error is shown, the remaining players are then booted back to the Nintendo logo, where it attempts to search for other systems running the demo once again.
