Finishing up the remaining retro tracks in this pack, including some beta tracks. I was curious and did a little research, and it turns out that Dry Dry Ruins was originally going to feature Miis more in its design, including Mii head Thwomps like the recreation seen in this video (source in case you're curious: https://tcrf.net/Prerelease:Mario_Kart_Wii#Concept_Art). I knew about Warp Pipe Island because of CTGP, but I didn't know it was a reimagining of a scrapped track from Mario Kart DS. It's cool to learn stuff about your favorite games.
