Mario Party 3 - Custom Made Mini-Game Island
8For the finale of Season 2 of my "Thank God It's Mario Party Friday" series, I decided to do something special; a custom-made Mini-Game Island format created by my good buddy KingKienzan.
If you want to play this yourself, here is a pastebin link to the explanation of how this works. This is not a ROM hack or mod, this is literally just playing the game in the mini-game collection room and switching to the mini-games in the lists as necessary. You don't have to play with his format and rules necessarily, but try to adopt some form of it in the spirit of Mini-Game Island:

The basic premise of this is: "What if Mario Party 3 had Mini-Game Island?" That's all this is. But since MP3 is the only N64 game that doesn't have it, my friend Kingo, who loves Mario Party 3, thought it would be appropriate that it did have one, so he made one himself. I had a lot of fun doing this and I encourage other people to do it as well, if they want to try a different MP3 experience.
But yeah, as mentioned in the video, this is my last Mario Party stream for awhile. Still love the series, but need a bit of a break from it, so I'm taking one. Not sure when I'll start it up again and formally start Season 3, but it won't be for awhile. Just want to do some other things; maybe even some other long-term or long-form projects.
