I do a run of Mario Party 9's story mode and it is way, way more straight out of heck than I remembered. Luckily it was all a buildup for comedy gold in the final bowser fight. Unfortunately my tech and audio was a blowup this weekend so apologies for that. Makes me wanna do this again w/o tech issues but.... wow. This is quite the video game.
