Welcome to the Marvel vs Capcom Fighting Collection MVC2 tournament where the winner will take home prizes from the prize pool that have been collected by the community.
RULES
This is a DOUBLE-ELIMINATION tournament. Matches will be FT1
There will be NO BANNED Characters
NO GLITCHES ARE ALLOWED (Cytorrek is officially a feature so not a glitch lol) Anyone caught glitching will receive an INSTANT DISQUALIFICATION!!!! Jank characters are enough to deal with, treat the people like they're lactose-intolerant and don't go for extra cheese!!!
Check-ins will begin 15 minutes before the tournament start-time to allow last-minute sign-ups to get involved.
This is a FREE-TO-ENTER tournament with the current prize pool contributed by the community. If you'd like to donate to the pool, contact me in discord at MikeOfAllTrades#0682 or click my name on the server.
This is a NORTH AMERICA ONLY tournament with the first 48 participants being able to enter (anyone after that will enter as a stand-by entry).
Internet connections must be confirmed in the appropriate channel in discord in the server under the channel #tournament-internet-speed-check in the discord server. Speaking of servers, match calls WILL take place IN THE SERVER!!! If you don't respond to your match call within three minutes and your opponent does, you will receive a forfeit for that particular round and if it occurs in the losers side of the bracket, needless to say that you will be eliminated from bracket play
All communication with your opponent should occur in the #tournament-chat channel under the General Tournament Category in the server and not in the stream. This way messages don't get lost and you can have clear contact with not only your opponent but the T.O if need be.
Not all matches will be aired but specific ones will be chosen at the discretion of the event coordinator. Once we make it to Semifinals in both sides of the bracket we will air all of those matches. All matches won't be aired to have a speedy tournament that flows smoothly.

Again, YOU MUST BE SUBSCRIBED TO THE CHANNEL AND HAVE JOINED THE DISCORD SERVER TO BE A LEGAL COMPETITOR! This is for the community after all.
Payouts will occur via Zelle for bookkeeping purposes.
