-About: Max hits 2012-
Max hits are back again with even more damage! After trying out 'weapon categories' in 2011, I've decided this year to just give each weapon an individual video. The main reason for this is more freedom to max any weapon, without having to worry about also doing others that would go in same same category (which prevented some weapons from being done last year). There is also the issue of time required to max, some weapons can take a very long time and doing these as part of a group of weapons sometimes delays the release of videos for a long time. Uploading each one individually should help with both of these, as a weapon can be uploaded as it's done and not have to wait for a bunch of other maxes to be finished.
I'm gonna try my best to get as many different weapons done this year as I can (that I feel are worth watching/maxing - no steel daggers for example :P). So hopefully you'll get to see the max hits of most half decent weapons.
Many melee weapons (and some range) are now hitting over the default maximum hp (990), so requires people with Nex sets to max on. Since I don't want to keep pestering my friends all the time to help out, if anyone has Pernix (or Virtus for some) and would be interested in being maxed on, feel free to pm me on Youtube and I'll let you know if I need any help (you will be credited and win 2 tickets a game).
As for the berserker aura, I've found it to be completely unreasonable to use for max hits. It functions exactly as you would expect a potion to function, not an aura. Upon activating it, your overloaded stats are boosted up to 134 and gradually drop 1 lvl a minute. This combined with the recharge time, means you only ever have 'max' strength at most for 1 minute every 5h10m. Considering some weapons can take upwards of 10 hours, you can probably see why this is a problem. I'll be more or less ignoring its existance for the main bulk of maxing this year.
