7Gensou Senki Kokou no Ryuu: Crying Dragon was initially revealed as a notable addition to the early roster of MegaCD games in 1991. Although there were brief mentions of its development in Famitsu during that year, the gaming community remained in the dark as no screenshots or updates were disclosed. The project seemingly faded into obscurity until 2019 when a prototype surfaced, courtesy of Andlabs, shedding light on the elusive title after nearly three decades of absence.
The visual aesthetics of this game bear a striking resemblance to Monster World III during its action scenes. However, the absence of music or sound effects in the accompanying video prompts the desire to integrate a fitting soundtrack. It's worth noting that the prototype showcased is notably neat and displays a certain level of functionality. Interestingly, the game appears to make no utilization or acknowledgment of the capabilities of the MegaCD hardware, functioning as a straightforward Megadrive ROM.
