I can't wait to upload the final video before I leave Indiana and move on to the next musical, tricycle adventure. If you like these practice videos, press that like button and subscribe!

I met Suellen through Tim Beeney. Tim is a fellow bicyclist who is active in his community, trying to encourage people to use cycling transportation and educate about cycling road rules. Before leaving last year, he invited me to Peoria, IL to speak at a few events, including a couple of schools where I played violin for the children and told them my cross country story. We also discussed the importance of working hard and facing our fears when it comes to following dreams. Suellen is Tim's sister who I just met in person a few weeks ago. We decided to learn and practice a couple of pieces together which is a part of my goal to learn and connect through music wherever I go. Suellen is busy saving lives on a daily basis as a nurse, but she also sings in her city choir and practices piano in between the hustle and bustle of adult life. We discussed how important it is for all people to make music together. You don't have to be professional; you don't even have to be good. Music is food for the soul, and we should all experience it, whether it's through listening or playing. So, we our challenging ourselves to learn together. In this first take, we are far from perfect. I forgot to check the angle of my cam, so I am mostly cut out of the frame. You can hear thunder and rain every once in a while, some footsteps, and we have some parts yet to polish. It's coming along.
