Here's a flawless run of the alternate Needle Man stage using only the mega buster. Of course, I do have to make use of Rush Jet and Rush Coil at necessary moments.

This is definitely the easiest of the 4 Doc stages. Doc Air is really cheap, but at least he takes 2 damage per shot. He's a bit harder than the MM2 version for a couple reasons. The hit boxes on the tornadoes are bigger, making them harder to dodge. One of the patterns is actually impossible to dodge without getting hit. Also, if you shoot too much, there is a lot of lag, and it can really throw off your timing if it suddenly speeds up after moving so slowly. Plus, it's a bit harder to get behind him safely for a couple free shots. Doc Crash is also definitely harder than the original, even if he takes double damage. His aim is trickier, and he is also likely to jump and attack unprovoked. Still, not too bad all in all.

No save states or slowdown used.
