Der neunte Teil der Mega Man Classic-Reihe (oder der zehnte Teil, wenn man "Mega Man & Bass" dazuzählt), "Mega Man 9" geht *back to the roots*, wurde im September 2008 für die Nintendo Wii veröffentlicht und orientiert sich stark an den alten NES-Teilen, sowohl optisch als auch spielerisch.
Mit dem netten Retrofeeling und entsprechener musikalischer Unterstützung, sowie neuen Elementen trumpft "Mega Man 9" richtig auf und beweist, dass Capcom es noch immer drauf hat!
