Before DX-Ball hit the spotlight in the mid to late 90's, the Ed & Al Mackey released the cult Breakout clone MegaBall in the early 90's for the Commodore Amiga, which featured many of the power-ups and gameplay mechanics that would inspire the creation of Michael P. Welch's cult PC hit. Originally released with a set of 50 levels and as a follow-up to the 1990 obscure Amiga game Ball, this shareware release in 1992 includes all the boards from the original version plus a few additional board sets with varying levels of difficulty to keep players coming back for more.
