The unit's option bar interface is poorly indicated and does not function as intended. The options only appear in certain scenarios for bar actions, making it unclear and confusing even for a veteran like myself. Furthermore, the multiplayer lobby seems to be designed around a microtransaction model, which creates an unbalanced gameplay experience. Luck of the draw, rather than skill, determines the outcome of a match, making it an overwhelming challenge for new players to learn and understand.

Additionally, the game has issues with the damage model, such as the unrealistic behavior of track and tank turrets when hit with penetrating rounds between ammo penetrating and high explosive rounds with tanks and guns. Selecting a unit and giving them orders also results in a delay with extremely poor response times.

Moreover, the fog of war is excessively thick, given the range of gameplay. The zooming feature in Direct Control mode should be separated from other actions, as it often hinders gameplay, especially when attempting precise aiming. Currently, zooming in and out on a target can cause the view to switch back to first person, resulting in a complete loss of line of sight due to the fog of war.

Overall, my first impression of the game is not good, despite being a veteran of this series for 20 years. It seems that this version is close to final, given the gaming industry's history with open playtests. However, to be sure of my impressions, I'll play a few more times and may even make a other video about it.
