Getting Over It is a punishing climbing game where gameplay takes place on a strange mountain as you, a man in a pot with a pickaxe, must climb using only your mouse and tricky controls for the Getting Over Itt gameplay. 'In the Tub With' is a work in progress series in which I'll take a one off look at a game and it’s gameplay. I'll attempt to show off gameplay, the mechanics and provide some of my first impressions. It is in no way intended as a review but rather as a source of commentated gameplay footage for anyone contemplating spending money but would like to see it in action first. Getting Over It is the latest game to fall victim to my ‘In The Tub With’ treatment so please try and stick with me as I find my feet in this loose critique of Getting Over It and the Getting Over It gameplay.
Published by Bennett Foddy, the Getting Over It gameplay is absolutely absurd. Getting Over It also has interesting presentation with good design so you may want to check out Getting Over It as the Getting Over It gameplay proves to feel competent, although at times impossibly difficult. The Getting Over It gameplay is inspired by a similarly hard game named Sexy Hiking where gameplay is also maddeningly hard.

Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy is a punishing climbing game, a homage to Jazzuo's 2002 B-Game classic 'Sexy Hiking'. You move the hammer with the mouse, and that's all there is. With practice, you'll be able to jump, swing, climb and fly. Great mysteries and a wonderful reward await the master hikers who reach the top of the mountain.
Released onto Steam on 6th December 2017 the Getting Over It gameplay is like nothing I've experienced and my first impressions are a mixture of good and jaded, although the Getting Over It gameplay is incredibly hard I find it very compelling. The Getting Over It gameplay has a mountain I’m willing to climb and although at it's core that's the only gameplay element, somehow it's enough in this crazy little game. The style of Getting Over It is decent and it fits the gameplay suitably. In my first impressions and gameplay of Getting Over It I think it’s easy to see the game has a certain degree of addictive charm.
Getting Over It is currently released on Steam and priced at £5.79. In my opinion, buy this game, but be warned it is very likely to drive you insane and I cannot be held accountable for that. I can honestly say, the Getting Over It gameplay is an enjoyable experience that has kept me engaged and wanting to improve. From the Getting Over It gameplay video, you can see I’m only 30 or so minutes into the Getting Over It gameplay but there may not be more Getting Over It gameplay elements to discover so consider this if purchasing Getting Over It and you can get an idea of what’s in store by checking out this Getting Over It gameplay and first impressions video.
