In this indie game showcase video, I'm taking a look at Metal Bringer, a roguelite mech action game that combines customizable mechs with solid hack and slash combat.
Metal Bringer puts you in control of powerful mechs in a post-apocalyptic world where you fight through procedurally generated levels. The standout feature is the deep mech customization system - you can completely rebuild your machine between runs using different weapons, armor, and parts you discover during gameplay.
The combat feels responsive and satisfying, with smooth hack and slash mechanics that make each encounter engaging. The art style gives it a great retro aesthetic, and the roguelite/roguelike progression keeps it fresh, while you experiment with different mech builds and strategies.
