Initially released in 1998 for the Sony PlayStation and soon within the Master Collection, Metal Gear Solid changed video games forever. The player takes control of Solid Snake, a seasoned veteran of multiple combat engagements, as he infiltrates Shadow Moses Island, to stop a group of terrorists. At least, that's what he was told.

This game has it all; a Cyborg Ninja, a plot about a twin's obsession with perceived genetic inferiority, a doctor fixated on revenge that also wants to see your booty cheeks, a gruff old CO, and a guy that was once played like a fiddle who is now not-alive on his couch somewhere missing his sunglasses.

I've been playing this game for 25 years, and thus, this video is very important to me. Watch on to find out why.
