6For those unaware, the Metro games were made by ex-GSC Gameworld devs. GSC was responsible for making the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise, the concept for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. originated from the Strugatsky Brothers' novel Roadside Picnic.
Both games (and books) are also post-apocalyptic. With Metro and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. taking place in an irradiated Moscow and Chernobyl respectively.
