The new Metro Game, direct sequel of Metro 2033, Metro: Last Light is 1 year after what happen in the previous game, it reminds me a lot of Dead Space franchise but more like Dead Space 2 or 3 Awakened with the flashback of dead peoples and very scary scenes, not jump scare but really making you doubt on where to go and what to do and if you doing it right, the ambiance is great, characters too, only down part is your character isn't talking back to ppl you encounter in the game, only between chapters so you feel more like a spectator than being the man who has to fight against creatures and such but in any case the rest of the game put you back into it.
Ranger Hardcore make the game incredibly hard, of course game wise like creatures being harder and less bullets etc but not only, if only haha, thing is the config menu is very poor and tell you the main buttons but there so much more, in fact I learned the buttons while playing the game and like there no HUD whatsoever on Ranger Hardcore you never get a pop up telling you any button to push or if there any ammo to pick up, nothing, even to change secondary weapons which can be knifes or grenades, you don't see the weapons menu, might be a glitch too but there no HUD at all as well when you have to press E in a event cut scene, there is NO HELP!! (which leads to some death sometimes watching a cut-scene dying and you have no idea why ah !)

It was released in May 2013. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world and features action-oriented gameplay with a combination of survival horror elements.
The game is set in the same post-apocalyptic future as its predecessor, Metro 2033. In it, mankind is struggling to survive beneath the ruins of post-apocalyptic Moscow, in the tunnels of the Metro, away from the deadly threats outside. People and animals who have been exposed to the poisonous substances filling the skies have become mutants who stalk the catacombs and hunt its inhabitants. The survivors are fighting against each other for the remaining resources instead of standing together to fight these dangerous creatures. They all covet an ultimate weapon; a powerful doomsday device from the military vaults of D6. Civil war among the survivors seems imminent and might lead to the end of humanity.
The player is cast as 'Artyom' in Metro: Last Light and has to find a way to make sense of the chaos and be the last light in humanity's darkest hour. The game is story-driven and lets the players experience combat situations where they have to fight with an arsenal of exotic hand-made weapons and fight against both human and mutant foes to progress in the game. The world of Metro: Last Light is designed to be an immersible, atmospheric one.
