recently i got a GC Loader which is a disc drive replacement for Gamecube. it lets you load games using an SD card and replaces the disc drive entirely and because of that it is very fast (past methods to load games were slow because of the interfaces they used)
i played this randomizer here to see how it would behave on a GC since so far all of the randos i've played were on Wii and Wii U.

this was a pretty weird seed overall. first, the placements were a bit odd at the start but then it turns out this seed didn't need to visit Sanctuary Fortress at all and i got almost all major items which means there was almost nothing of value there. i think it's the first time i get a rando that skips one whole area entirely.

i got some technical issues towards the middle of the playthrough so i had to reset the GC. i think it was a problem with the way i set the video resolution on the console before starting since using the standard one after resetting fixed this.
