2It's time to take on our first boss in a while: A Metroid Hatcher. There are only three of these things in the game, and this is probably the second one you have faced thus far. They attack with their tentacles, spin at you, and can spawn Phazon Metroids at will to send at you. To kill them the standard way you must shoot it to stun it, rip off its tentacles, and shoot its weak point. However, I have NEVER fought these things the way it was intended. Instead, I used the X-Ray Visor/Nova Beam combo to one-shot them.
