Equip it before Snake enters it while "diving" into the vent while pressing forward + crawl. It's kind like the one I uploaded on GZ after it came out.

Should be handy, it's faster than just crawling. Moreover you have no choice but to make a cardbox in the beginning of the game so if one day there is a single segment run, finding one will not be a problem / a loss of time.

When you don't see the box, it's actually above Snake. You can't shoot but you can break it if you punch, but you will go to the normal state.
